March 2020

We hope you started of this month of March right by joining us in worship and communion this past weekend at GraceCity. Our weekly worship gathering is one of the most important disciplines of putting God in first place in your life. As we often say, following Jesus is more than just going to church, but it certainly isn’t less than that

There are opportunities for us to grow in and around GraceCity this month, check them out!

Growing in Grace “Growing Up in The Spirit”
Sundays 8:45am – 9:45am | Before service at church
7 week class starting in March 15 – April 26

Have questions about the Holy Spirit, what He does, and how He relates to you?  There are many notions about the experiential and formative work of the Spirit in the life of the believer.  The truth is…, well come find out during the five week Growing in Grace series on the Holy Spirit, starting on March 15th.  In this series we will examine the person and work of the Holy Spirit from a biblical perspective, using the text Paul & the Spirit and the People of God by renowned theologian Gordon Fee.

Sunday Supper Series – Physical Intimacy in Marriage
Sunday March 15th | 4:00pm – 7:00pm
GraceCity Loft | 3701 Bank St, Suite C 21224

Are you married, engaged, or dating and moving toward marriage?  If so, please join us for GC’s Family + Marriage Ministry’s next Sunday Supper Series.  This quarterly event promises an evening of fellowship and conversation around varying topics relevant to growing and strengthening marriages. Our conversation on March 15th will be focused on physical intimacy in marriage.

When you think of sex and intimacy in your marriage, do adjectives come to mind like exciting, passionate, fun, flirtatious, holy and deeply fulfilling?  We believe these and MORE are part of God’s desired intent for this area of marriage.  We also know there are obstacles that battle against us experiencing this deep intimacy and ecstasy with our spouse.  At this Sunday Supper Series we are diving into the deep end on this topic and hope you will join us!  Guest speakers Tara and JP Kahnert, known for their transparency and candor on the topic, will lead a helpful, frank and encouraging discussion about a subject that we all need (and want) but rarely talk about.  Whether you’ve been married for 4 weeks or 40 years, you won’t want to miss this!

Tara Kahnert is the Director of Women’s Ministry at Grace Fellowship Church and holds an M.Ed from Loyola University.  JP holds a D.Min from Denver Seminary and serves as the Sr. Director of Adult Ministry at Grace Fellowship.  Starting as high school sweethearts, Tara and JP have been married for 25 years and currently live in Lutherville with their 3 children.

Dinner will be provided following our discussion with the Kahnerts for all who are interested. There will also be childcare available for newborns through 5th grade.  Childcare spots are LIMITED, so please register your child asap if you are interested in this opportunity. To RSVP follow the link to CCB.
