Most folks will offer their opinion about church whether you ask for it or not. But what if Jesus were to weigh in? What if He were to email us here at GraceCity and speak clearly to our strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats?
It’s a good thing we aren’t left to wonder! In the beginning of the book of Revelation, Jesus personally delivers a message to seven real (but very different) churches that existed in the first century. Though these churches existed over 2000 years ago, the issues will appear profoundly familiar. And the challenges will grow us significantly, in the way we do life and church.

Reactions to the book of Revelation are remarkably varied. Some followers of Christ obsess over it, viewing it as a kind of secret history of the world and the key to interpreting contemporary events and people. Others neglect it, as the uncanny imagery of the book mystifies and even intimidates many.
While Revelation is a part of God’s holy Word, many of us require a bit of help and sound interpretation to reap all it offers in nurturing our spiritual lives. This series is an opportunity to discover a beginning comprehension in the first few chapters, with neither obsession or neglect marking your understanding. Can’t wait to get into this great book together!
